1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, start a trial, or contact us. This includes your email address, name, and payment information processed securely through Stripe. We do not store payment card details on our servers.
We also collect usage data — pages visited, features used, and session duration — to improve the product. This data is associated with your account and not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the CivicSlate service, send you lead intelligence reports and account notifications, process billing through Stripe, and improve signal quality and coverage. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Data Sources
CivicSlate surfaces signals from publicly available government records including city council agenda packets, budget documents, and procurement notices published by Arizona municipalities. We do not collect or store private government data.
4. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure for legal and audit purposes. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us at [email protected].
5. Third-Party Services
We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of payment data. We use standard server logs for security and uptime monitoring. No third-party advertising trackers are embedded in the product.
6. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed before storage. We follow security practices appropriate for a B2B information service and review them regularly.
